Check out http://www.remotepotato.com/. It's great for getting access to your MPC over the net. I use it to record new shows that I hear about when I am away from home.

Denis
with esfile explorer if you long press on the file you want to copy it will pop up a menu where you can select copy, when you do this a tab will appear on the lower part of the screen. You can then navigate to where you want the file to go, drag the tab up and long press on the file and again you will get a menu where you can select paste. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the overview. Android/Honeycomb is a whole new space for me. Have just purchased A500 tab but apart from opening widgets and apps I'm lost. How to save pictures from a camera SDHC to the tab via a card reader? I have d/l a file manager [ES file explorer], can see the photos on the tab but how do I save to the tab and delete from the SDHC card? Is there a better user guide for the a500 than the Acer one. And ES file explorer?. Going o/s next week and was hoping the tab would allow me to d/l photos from my camera plus stay connected to email etc. If you can point me in the right direction - much appreciated.

I bought this is Malaysia last week from Sim Lim (32GB version)
and there is a reasonable amount of crashes on it...
but then you have to take into account that Honeycomb is rather new and it's not open source yet so until then, development shall be slow...
But games that are designed for the Tegra 2 work amazingly!
and it's visible that the graphics of the games are being held back (even though they already do look good) from their full potential in fear of lag.
Overall i would recomend this over any laptop, windows 7 or ipad.
at it's price... the battery life... and what it can do... wow, technology has indeed gotten far :)

Looking forward to your commentary on the Honeycomb-friendly apps you discover in the weeks/months ahead. I'm currently eyeing-off an Asus Eee Pad Transformer and I'm keen to build an app shopping list so that I can hit the ground running. :-)

Just wondering if you ever got around to writing-up your experiences with US pre-paid SIM cards and data plans. Heading over there in a few months and will need some mobile data for my mobile (to feed my WiFi-only tablets). Would appreciate your point of view and experience. Thanks :-)

Awesome, Very Standard Applications.

I recommend Calling plus a simple utility application for android devices which works on android 2.0+ devices and very handy and helpful app for every individual who is calling abroad using calling cards or PBX access numbers.

Try it now on android Market:
